Soft-tissue injuries can "silently" torment the active individual. When the initial strain occurs, an inflammatory response develops and a vicious cycle begins: the body’s natural mechanisms kick into gear, causing a repetitive cycle of repair, re-injury, and re-inflammation. This ultimately leads to adhesions and scar tissue formation, compromising muscle fibers, alters joint mechanics and keeps you from staying active!
